Other options on the trainer activate fine (the ones with options already in the game e.g. no hunger) which is why I don't think it's the antivirus. And Aurora is working fine with other games (their trainers activate properly), also the Freeze Time option seems to have bugged out for other people in previous versions as well.
Try running Aurora with full folder exclusions and as admin.
Trainers are made for unmodded versions of the game, so any mods can and will break the trainer. I suggest you disable those also.
Cheat Happens has folder exceptions, and I don't know how to run it as an admin because I can't find the Aurora.exe. Is it possible you could tell me where the program is located?
C:\Users\"user"\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\Aurora (it's not in this folder)
You should have Aurora folder also excluded.
That would be where you placed it. I don't see your PC so I wouldn't know that.
You are most likely opening Aurora from somewhere, so you can likely use that shortcut to open the file location.
That folder is the settings

I have the same issue with freeze time. I've tried runing Aurora as admin. Removed all mods. Started a new game. Uninstalled Echoes and did a clean reinstall (removed all folders and saves). Started another new game, same deal.
