1st flute-on the last white block in
1-3, hold down for a while. when u go down, run to the right as fast as u can behind the black curtain
2nd flute-in the mini castle in world 1, go until you get the feather in the block. jump on the skeloton thing, go to the right WITHOUT GOING IN THE DOOR.run to the left, and when the p-meter is full, fly up and to the right until you are on top of the wall. go right as far as possible, then press up, as if going through a door.
after you have two flutes, beat world one, and when you're in world 2, use both. good luck in world 8!

There is also a flute in World 2.
After defeating a Boomerang Bro, you'll get a Hammer. don't use it on the block in the path. Go all the way right and go up into the corner. There is a rock beside you and a tree beside it. Use the hammer to get to the Secret area of the map. The Toad's House contains a Frog Suit a Frog Suit and, a Frog Suit. There is a Fire Bro on the path. kill it to get the 3rd Whistle.

There is also a flute in world 1 besides the one where u hafta hold the down button. theres one in the castle thingty with the lava. u hafta go past the lava all the way to where the door is. then fly up on that and u keep flying nd pressing up. u will eventually enter a room with a box with a flute in it
