I'm currently a free account user but if i back this Lifetime Upgrade, a Lifetime of Lifetime PLUS, TIER 7 Status kickstarted do i become a lifetime plus tier 7 member or do i have to get a lifetime account first

No, you can go straight from free to Tier 7.
