Aurora Features Requests Discussion

Would love to have an option to disable achievements completely, or at least hide any popups, notifications, sounds, social media features (e.g. latest member achievements) etc.

Can you do this on consoles? Steam games? I don't think so. I'd actually not having to provide an "opt-out" for any new feature we add only because someone doesn't like it. Because that makes a lot of work. Also I would be more convinced if people can provide good arguments. Sometimes they're got enough to change my opinion.

As for the sound you can simply open Aurora folder and overwrite the achievement sound file with a silent one, or maybe it even works when you just delete it.

As for the popups one click and they're gone. And they won't appear again.

Yea i didn't know it was requested feature either.
I don't want to see Latest Member Achievements either.

That is not the sort of strong arguments I was talking about. I can understand that popups and sounds can be annoying if you dislike them. That is indeed a good argument but a counter is to say that these popups appear only once for the rest of your membership life. And the latest achievements on homepage doesn't hurt anyone. You don't wanna see it? Don't look at them. Hiding them doesn't give you much benefit, just some more extra height on a scrollable list of latest trainers. Plus you have the option to change the default starting page.
