This tool is fundamentally broken in a tiling window manager. Hyprland specifically. Running CachyOS Linux, I installed the program and followed the instructions, but the program has no idea what to do in a TWM (tiling window manager). If someone could take a look at that I would appreciate it. I did buy the $10 tool.
First of all:
Tool was made for Steamdeck. We added kind of unofficial support for other linux distributions. But we never said it works with tiling window manager. We also dont give official support for other linux distributions than Steamdeck.
Second:
I dont have CachyOS and I dont really know what Hyprland is. I've asked an AI about your problem and here is the answer:
Hyprland is a Wayland tiling compositor. Avalonia (which SDT uses) currently runs on Linux via X11/XWayland (according to the documentation, Wayland support is only in preview), which means that XWayland must be active on Hyprland, otherwise the app will not start or will behave strangely.
What your user should check/change (Hyprland)
XWayland installed?
On Arch/CachyOS: sudo pacman -S xorg-xwayland. Hyprland automatically uses XWayland when available.
Is the app actually running via XWayland?
In Hyprland: hyprctl clients and look at the output after your window; there should be a flag/entry showing that it is an XWayland client.
----
Sounds like you can/should fix it on your end.
Whats encrypted?! I gave you terminal commands you need to execute.
I had already done that troubleshooting step before I posted here. I had already done everything I could to fix the problem on my end. The next logical step would be what my previous post stated. I can't do that because I can't alter your executable.
Since Steam OS is now Officially supported on the Legion Go.
Do Aurora and the tool work on the Legion Go running Steam OS ?

Hi,
i installed Steam OS on my Legion Go (vers 1) with Proton today and tried Everspace2. Aurora is working on the LeGo and with the Aurora Launcher it is very easy to use.
The UI ist not optimized for that small Display, so i changed fontsize to 14. In the first test Aurora was in an small window. After changing resolution in steam game mode to 1920x1200 Aurora comes in fullscreen.
It would be nice, if we could choose a special cleaner and greater UI for that small Displays. For older people, over 60 like me, it woud be a huge improvement.
