Aurora Features Requests Discussion

I'm just trying to get this to run for the first time and I can't get the focus to work on Aurora in order to enter my credentials. I've enabled developer mode, I've tried in desktop and steam mode, and essentially nothing seems to be accepted in the login screen. I've followed the instructions in the video and that's the only thing that doesn't seem to work, everything else works as expected.

Hey man, this is what worked for me and not on all games but on most. Do everything the video says to do plus***** put steam in developer mode, turn off steam overlay (select game properties, general deselect the “ Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game”) . I also selected auto login under Aurora app settings(not necessary but it’s nice) . I’ve had the most success doing this process in the “game mode”.

Also things I ran into. It wouldn’t let me select the “ Steam Tinker Launch” under the game properties/compatibility “ force the use of a specific Steam Play compatiblty tool” on desktop mode. I checked it on “game mode” and clicked properties and wala! It was there to select. After this I checked to see if it was available on desktop and it was now an option.

Doing all these things I’ve gotten all games but elder ring to work. Hope this helps!

OK. I'm using it very well on Steam Deck. So I proceeded with the premium payment.But there is one problem.
Trainer activation sound is repeated continuously.
Please tell me the solution.

I also have this problem. It’s quiet enough that I can’t hear it when game audio is going but it’s non stop. Trainer activated when I click a toggle repeated. And if I turn off toggle for a code it say deactivated over and over. If anyone figures this out I’d be interested also in the fix.

Under Aurora Settings > Audio you can change the volume of the trainer sounds. Try turning them all the way down and see if it helps. You could also try deleting the .mp3 files in the /audio folder.

Still tearing my hair out trying to get this to work with generation zero.
Got it working with all other titles I have tried.

With gen zero it only opens the trainer and the steam tinker menu does not show anymore. Even uninstall and reinstall won't fix it 😢

Update:
After going to desktop mode and forcing a crash I was able to access tinker menu.
Changing through timeout time to 10 I can now regularly access the tinker launch menu

When loading the game (gen zero) both the trainer and the game open but unable tk select anything within aurora.

Hardware acceleration off
Auto login on
Wined3d off

Its bootleg and buggy. I am really surprised its being advertised so heavily.

I have used it successfully with elden ring so far.

It crashes the deck forcing auto reboots, launching is a bit of a dice roll on whether you will get a reboot.

I use desktop mode to get it setup (pointing to the tinker launch, and doing the wine3d checkbox)

Like you, nothing is clickable after that in desktop mode. However gaming mode will let you click to login usually. Sometimes it wont and you just have to hard reboot and try again.

Once you can get auto login working and flip wine3d back off, desktop mode still doesnt allow clicking for me, but game mode does usually.

It can take upwards of 20 minutes of rebooting because of unclickable interface, and crash/reboots to get a session going. Another tip is to go slow when launching, and sometimes just wait up to a minute for clicking on aurora to work, and make sure you are closing all the error prompts that pop up as part of the process.

Looking forward to a proper version, but I spend about as much time trying to get it to work as i do playing and i dread trying another game with the current workflow.
