I found this post just by accident a few minutes ago when using Cheat Happens built in message board search.
This is fantastic this exists, but at same time, Google search is giving incorrect information, so many might not know this can work on the Steam Deck.
For example, the top posts in Google search are either leading to CH 404 errors, or a Reddit post with just to many replies that it doesn't work or exist.
I'll post the correct information, and if it's ok, a link to this post on my review pages, so others know. One thing for certain, it might be helpful if enough reply to that Reddit post so it gets voted up with the correct information, so others can benefit?
Thanks again for a great utility!
Yes, we had an error on the page for a few hours and just fixed it about an hour ago. Please feel free to share anywhere you'd like.
Special thanks go to our awesome community for helping us in finding a way to finally get Aurora up and running on Valve's Steam Deck. Shout out to member bb1bsc for his extremely helpful videos and tutorial.
We have created a video on how to get Aurora up and running on your Steam Deck.

Hey, PWizard!!! I just made a minor breakthrough with getting Aurora working properly, and I think it's something that a lot of people may have overlooked!
If you are having issues with not being able to type into the log in screen, or not being able to change focus to the login screen/game in game mode, or having any other non-"a game's trainer isn't working perfectly" issue, one needs to make sure that "Developer Mode" is enabled in game mode(non-desktop mode).
"Steam Button" -> Settings -> System -> "Enable Developer Mode"
I had everything working just fine, and I upgraded my m.2 drive and had to start from scratch. I had totally forgotten about that toggle that I probably set to on when I first got my Steam Deck and was playing around in the menus. Now, I still had to go into game mode to get Aurora logged in on a couple games, but I haven't had any problems at all since I enabled developer mode!
I noticed that this toggle wasn't mentioned in your video, so I figured I would post this info here.
Hopefully this will help some folks who were having trouble.

Hey @drunkontacos ... that's a really awesome tip for people that might be struggling with the process. If we end up making another video, will be sure and mention it!
Newbie questions here, but after following all of the steps in the installation video, I am unable to see the Aurora window while on desktop mode. Any thoughts on how to fix this?? Feels like I need a way to Alt+Tab without a keyboard essentially. When switching to Game mode (developer mode enabled) I can switch windows easily to the Aurora window (YAY).
Problem: it is not registering my games, so I cannot enable any trainers. I tried with Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition & Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Solution?? - Do I need a paid membership to access the trainers from the Aurora interface?

Hey @Hoffcat ... the majority of our games that are built into Aurora also have "promo" options that you can use even if you don't have a premium account. On Sleeping Dogs, we don't have an Aurora trainer for it, so it would never work in Aurora and it would require a premium account to download from the site. On Kingdom Come, it does NOT have any promo options so you would need a premium account to use them. Note that you should still be able to use the search function in Aurora and check some other, newer titles and see if those trainer options show up or not.
