Aurora Features Requests Discussion

Can you guys elaborate on the issues your having? Have you followed my steps from my latest post exactly?

IMPORTANT:
As of Aurora v1.7.0, it is necessary to use the (currently experimental) Proton version 8 or higher (not shown in latest video).
Here is a quick guide:
Step 1: Update protonupqt
Step 2: launch it and remove steamtinker without removing the options you saved (it will prompt a message choose dont delete) and the proton version you have installed.
Step 3: install latest steamtinker and proton stable version
Step 4: in the steamtinker game menu under proton version choose: proton 8.0-1d
Repeat step 4 for all of the games.
All should be fine now.

Yes, this is exactly what I did and everything works great! The only thing that isn't working is when wanting to connect it to android app pin doesn't show instead an error

Hey there. For specific games that followed the basic setup of getting the correct settings in place for first launch aurora in game before logging in / going in settings /etc, once launched with any proton whether its 8-1 or 8-2 the second window that is for Aurora freezes. So far this error has occurred on No Mans Sky when it loads aurora but it auto switches to NMS and im trying to figure out what other games this issue has occurred with.

I am unable to connect the mobile app on the steam deck within aurora. It just displays connecting and not providing a pin. Is there any fix for this, or something I am doing wrong?

Been following along with the Aurora video (and the new update) and I’m having problems after the first log in. After making it where it can connect to the game, the Aurora login page comes up but it won’t accept any inputs. I can’t enter a username, password, or do anything. Been trying to see if this is an issue for anyone else but I’m not seeing it.

have you tried using an external keyboard and not the touchscreen keyboard?

I went to try this again with m+k but before I did that, I noticed in the first time you access Aurora and go into “misc” that there’s a place to check for auto log in. I did that and it bypassed the log in for the second part. I was able to use Aurora normally past that point. Might be something to let people know of if it happens for them.
