I really want to use the shadow of war trainer but it's being flagged as filerepmalware trojan

False positive. Besides the very obvious and huge button to "Upgrade your protection" on the detection message is questionable. Bad tongues claim that the more false positive alerts they show, the more sales they make.

thanks i'm having trouble getting it to open with avast nomatter how much i try and un quarantine it and set it as an exemption it just wont stop flagging it so i'm going to just remove avast. Any suggestions on a decent virus scanner?

Funny you said that i got the trainer to open but my windows defender shut it down after 10 seconds and blocks and quarantines it says it's a severe threat

I guess you will just have to shut off everything to run it since it's such an ancient trainer template.

I'm having the exact same problem. I just tried another trainer and Aurora and found they are still working normally.

Hi i have Avast Premium... if you allow the app to have a icon in the right side of the procesline (by the clock and date) you are able to right click on the icon and Deativate Avast as long you are running the trainer making trouble...its only a few clicks.. btw. i only need to use this option when i use one of the older trainers for download.... not when using Aurora (have add the folder Aurora is located in and all content to exceptions in the Avast menu) I can allso add that i get way less false positives using Avast contra Bitdefende... i changed recently.... And i can say i feel in better hands, also Avast have a much comfortable and way less aggressive marketing politics.... i no longer feel irritated or harassed like i often did by the way bitdefender do business. So yeah Avast just got some advertising, just cuz they treat people ok... ohh.. and the user and accound interface is way better to imo. and thats all frome haveing more language options to easy changing account and payment options... I felt bitdefenders was a nightmare, especially if you are trying to cancel auto-renewal or parts of your bundle package.
