Regarding the Friendship going to 0 issue:
What I've observed from V3 of the trainer is, after someone is at level 10, there is a chance that, with this still enabled and giving a gift, the friendship goes to 0. I've been trying to see if this happens with V4, but have not seen it occur...yet, so this bug might be gone now.
The Recent update does not fix already broken characters. If it is possible to have an editor for friendship based on selecting a character and in the editor seeing what their friendship exp is, this could allow for seeing the bugged out digits and correcting / resetting them back to normal range so that quests can resume.
Please confirm if this is fixed in latest trainer so we don't continue down the rabbit hole with this game. Also, have you tried CoSMOS for editing your Friendship value and setting it to whatever you like?
Tested out multiple scenarios with different characters at Lvl 10 to see if they zero out, so far no character has zeroed out.
As for CoSMOS, finding the value once the character is at lvl 0 is not something I've been able to find in order to alter it unfortunately.

Yeh, I was afraid of that. Our programmer said the game was EXTREMELY difficult to work with so CoSMOS may not be able to find the values at all. You can always PM him and see if there is a way to create an "editor" for this value to help fix any that got stuck.
Hi so i too have the level 0 friendship bug so i found what write to the friendship address when you give a gift i can make a level 6 return to level 1 but the one that are level 0 does no regain a "normal" friendship when i do the same with them.
(can i attach my CoSMOS table to see if it's only me ?)

Sure, just zip/rar it first but only staff will be able to see it. If it's meant for everyone to see then upload it to a file sharing site (one without 400 popups and ads please) and provide the link here.
Attempts with another trainer that showed the value of friendship were not successful. The value of friendship and levels could be modified, but they did not stick after resetting the game, nor even allow you to start a quest.
What this did show me is that the value for the bugged characters for their friend XP was stuck at 3000018947.
Plugging that number into CoSMOS, I can see that the level does change for an effected character, but nothing else registers (Still says I need to be lvl 10 to start the quest, when its showing them as 10, etc.). So more than likely this isn't the value that has to be edited to get the game to recognize the level alteration.
Hope this helps in some way, though getting concerned that undoing this might not be possible.
I'm afraid modifying the friendship level isn't as simple as it's looks like,when the friendship value goes beyond a certain amount then the in game function that performs the friendship changes isn't called anymore therefore making it impossible to revert back to normal,to revert it to where it was the in game function has to be called again with the proper parameters.
i'm giving my best to create a reset option but i'll need a save game with this bug so i could perform more thorough analysis.
