Ok, everything seems to be working....so far..
Question I had. The speed option. I click it on and I don't see anything moving faster. Now if I alt tab to a different window and make Disney Dreamlight not my active window, everything moves at the speed I set. I click back to make it my active window, everything moves at normal speed. Am I just missing something?

Would it be possible to include an option to set items to 0?
I accidentally left x6 Item Pick-up on and I collected a quest item. Now I cannot remove the extras from my inventory.
this game is very badly coded and almost everything is hardcoded so no such an option is out of question.

Quest Items Disposal - If (like me) you've got a growing collection of unique/quest items, my solution is simply to have a junk station with a bunch of chests in it. Throw the excess items in there to free up your inventory space.
have the same issue, but as you said for now we can just put the quest items into a chest, but it is still not the best answer for that issue, we need an option in the cheats that allows us to delete an item from inventory.
so i hope the modders make an option like that.
