thx it kinda fixed it, i am able to update, But now it won't download anything on cheathappens had to find a link from a 2020 post for a link for aurora

Please let me verify what you said:

When Aurora launched, it updated itself to the latest version, but was unable to update the list of trainers. Then you found a link for an older version of Aurora which which I'll assume you downloaded/unpacked and ran. Didn't the older version try to update itself to the current one?

So strange how aurora stopped working all of a sudden when was fine 2 months ago..., aurora now doesn't update or work anymore, can anyone help me please.

Let's try a few things to test your connectivity.
The NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID message was from the Chrome browser as it had a hiccup validating a certificate.

What version of Aurora are you currently running?

If you would, please: Change your primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 Secondary DNS to 208.67.222.222

Since I'm only a user, I don't have permission to open/read uploaded ZIP files. I'll need you to copy/paste some stuff.

First, ping both DNS addresses to make sure they reply. Open a Command Prompt and ping 1.1.1.1 and ping 208.67.222.222 Did they reply?

With the Command Prompt open, type:
    nslookup www.ch-downloads.com > c:\nslookup-ch-downloads.txt

Locate the file "nslookup-ch-downloads.txt" on c:\ and open it. Copy the contents into a reply message so I can see the results plus let me know the version of Aurora you're running.

Launch Aurora to see if the DNS changes made any affect.

    Cheers!
