About to Switch my Virus Scan...

Was wondering what Virus Scan works the Best with Cheathappens Software?

Want to choose my next Virus Scan based on that...
I'm running Windows 10 and want the least problems, with good security

That is easy to manage and doesn't give me false alerts when running Cheathappens Trainers

Windows Defender does an excellent job. In my opinion there is no need for an external AV software anymore. They only cause more issues than they solve.

ok, reason I'm switching is because I got scared when everyone told me to get rid of Kaspersky since it's Russian based? It's been great for me for years... Never had an issue... but people are scaring me... saying due to the political climate it could be a backdoor? 😒 So I think I'll be switching... And I was just charged over $100 bucks for another year subscription and then everyone told me to get rid of it...

Think I should listen to them?😢

Also online people are scaring also...
    Such as posts like these...

Kaspersky banned by the US government
In 2017, the US government’s Department of Homeland Security banned Kaspersky software from being used by US federal government agencies. The ban was signed into law after concerns were raised in Congress about the company's alleged ties to Russian intelligence.

I don't use any special Anti-Virus software anymore. They are more trouble than worth and plus, they are quite expensive! I use only default Windows security. Never had any virus/trojans/etc. problems whatsoever, just use common sense when you browse the internet, download files, open files and/or e-mail attachments.
And of course, I never had any problems with CheatHappens files/trainers and I am using them for many years now; just make exception for Aurora directory, offline Trainer download/storage directory and all TEMP directories that Aurora/Offline trainers make/need to use!

@awakendjay: Based on this theory you shouldn't use any US based software too. Because they have similar laws (like most countries btw) that, in theory, could force US companies to provide backdoors for agencies. But unless you are a very important person I have real doubts that Russian agencies are looking at you. The people who scares you are just making politics. If you say you are happy with Kaspersky you should continue using it.
