Yeah, it's "such" an improvement, that I couldn't use my CK3 trainers until today. Couldn't manually download the update, and Aurora (until the new version came out) didn't allow you to update it as well. It does now (maybe), but I'm not playing CK3 right now.
And, unlike trainer manager, you can't open the trainer separately from the game. Or atleast I haven't figured out how to do that.
Cool, you finally can play Crusader Kings 3 with the Aurora trainer 😎
I've been a member for a while, and what's the point of Aurora when (or if) you have the old Trainer Manager? Aurora's big selling point? All-In-One Trainer Manager. I already HAVE that, and it's now useless. Well, I guess Aurora might not force me to remember my email that I used, or my password (unlike Trainer Manager), but that's a small consolation when I already have something that did everything I needed it to.
I guess you're a glass is half empty kind of person and I say that keeping in mind that everyone should be allowed to have an opinion.
I wouldn't have a problem with Aurora if I weren't FORCED to use it. I can't even download updates manually, it HAS to be done through Aurora. Maybe there's a reason for it on Cheat Happens side (server bandwith or storage or something like that), but for me, it's being forced to use something when I'm already using a product I'm happy with. Especially since I don't see any of the benefits of Aurora over Trainer Manager.

Straight up, they just copied their competitor. "Oh but we're better since we offer other things and give away free stuff!"
Barely now with Aurora. Lifetime users are now the exact same thing as free users over at other sites. I came to this site when another removed their individual downloads and now CH goes and copies them. I personally didn't receive any email or notice about the forced Aurora use so I had no idea until it was shoved down my throat. Thank god I play older games which still offer the good standalone trainers. Good for the people who wanted it, shame for those who are now screwed.
People are screwed for being able to use a more simple and user friendly system? not sure where you get that from.
And its not our fault you live under a rock, Aurora has been discussed for months before coming out.
And i assume you still use a rotary phone as well?
As you seem to struggle with the advancement of technology.
Anyway, each their thing.
We can't make everyone happy.

Um, are you DELUSIONAL ? How many other sites give away about $30K worth of FREE merchandise to their members every month? PLEASE, list them out. Also, Lifetime members have ALWAYS shared similar attributes with other memberships, it's just that, you know, unlike ANY OTHER COMPETITOR IN EXISTENCE, it's for LIFE for ONE LOW PRICE.
Anyways, moan and groan all you want. It's not like this happened like 9 months ago. Oh wait...

This was progression, advancement in the system. CH had and still is leading the way in the trainer world. This was not forced down your throat or anyone's throat for that matter, we asked all the users on this site regarding the change polls etc and the community majority agreed to go this way for the progression and advancement in the system to make it easier to create and update trainers. The removing of a need to have to create a template and pack it together for standalone trainer. Which needs additional work on the users part e.g. .NET .CORE files while having your Antivirus setting the trainers to whitelist.
Aurora, is a large improvement on the the old Trainer Manager. With the large database of trainers converting all to work with Aurora will take time. Improvements are constantly been looked into.
