Hello! My curiosity finally got the best of me, and I was hoping I could engage with the community with regards to the technologies involved in Aurora's development.

I have learned a while back that Aurora employs WPF for its presentation layer. I am curious to learn if Aurora was designed using the MVVM pattern?

I have been working with WPF and the MVVM design pattern for about 5 years now, and the programmers that came before me didn't do a very good job designing the ViewModels. My company has charged me with establishing what I assume marketing has coined as a "true architectural framework" that leverages the MVVM pattern. While I understand the words individually, I can tell that management just wants the product to function more consistently and with greater reliability. No easy feat considering this "product" is supposed to be a full-fledged ERP software system, but I digress.

Aurora functions so well with nice, fluid asynchronous actions. As silly as it may sound, Aurora has become something of an inspiration to me as I design this overhaul. I want to learn. 🙂

Just wanted to take the moment to say Aurora = sliced bread. The team of people responsible for the software masterpiece has gained my loyalty. Back into the shadows with me. I'll post again in another decade.

Are there any tips you can share that might help me orchestrate asynchronous code as smoothly as you've managed to make it in Aurora? I write in C# if that matters.

I'm struggling to achieve that level of UX.
