There has been no patches so seems weird it would suddenly get this issue.

I'm not using any mods that change the gameplay, I'm using adjust the FOV, increase animation distance, remove chromatic abberation, remove vignette, skip the intro, ultrawide fix.
I agree this is weird, as it was working just before the last patch drop and I didn't see any reports about this either, just wanted a sanity check first before I start running through the delete everything and reinstall dance.

I am not sure if it is doing this in the base game, as I stopped using it mid-way through but started again to dup items in Shadow. Shadow has been where the Trainer has acted weird. I have lost the ability to L2 or R1 sometimes, with the animation freezing on what I was doing last before activating. Boss' get the God Mode buffs. Very weird -

Is Shadow a DLC?

Well the trainer does say +Erdtree so likely we made that one. Unsure why the trainer is doing weird stuff however.
