as long as you don't click on suspicious links the default windows defender is pretty good

If you're looking for a 3rd party suggestion, ESET is very CH friendly once a couple of exclusions are in place.
Keep your Fighting clean and your Sex dirty.

I confirm the above regarding Defender. I worked for an AV company back in the day for a couple of years and I can tell you that Defender is more than enough (unless things changed in the past 3 years) for your protection as long as you don't click every link you find on the internet. Browse smart, stay safe! 🙂
