ok so downloaded it and i got a virus alert which i never ever got from trainers that i got here.
so i disabled my virus scanners, made a exception to a folder so that it wont get deleted.
i downloaded the trainer again and you see the cheathappends logo and then poof it doesnt start and the file is gone.
now i try this again and this time the file stayed but it still would not run.
now i got my old crappy laptop which has no protection on it at all its completely clear and (i used tp play a old game on their with a trainer that worked.)
so i copied the trainer that i downloaded to a usb and put it on the laptop and tried to run it .. the logo of cheathappens appears but the trainer itself doesnt work.
one of the prev version of the trainer that i still had installed Works perfectly.
I am having the same issue, just without the virus flags as I have already set aside a trainer folder which is excluded in firewall, AV, and other security measures.
Have you managed to find a solution to this? Per chance? Are you running windows 11? Perhaps it could be a compatibility issue, but I haven't tested it on any of my Win 10 Machines.

Same issue, tried opening trainer, CH logo appears then disappears shortly after and the trainer does not run. Tried all steps above and in troubleshooting.

It help me when excluded trainer folder, i have never got problems with antivirus before. I use eset as antivirus. Hasn't touched windows defender.
The trainer works good, but, when push at same time Left Ctrl and Shift, the game crashes. I tryied without trainer and it dont happens.

I couldn't ever get the overlay to show up, despite it being selected as on in the overlay tab. Tried numerous times to get it to appear and the key combos did nada for me.
Using the shift+insert does nothing at all. Just figured it wasn't usable for this game.
