The "Super Unit" function appears to be inconsistent at best. The combat strength does get set to 1000 during normal play but during manual battles the value returns to normal and adjusting the unit's stats during battle doesn't work. On two instances my unit and the enemy unit were destroyed on a single attack despite being undamaged. Automatic battles have all been losses.
Please advise.
You definitely can't use the auto-battle with the super unit, that won't work.
I had it working, and then in a new Era it stopped working. So not sure what was different, but it is a bit wonky.
I haven't been able to get the editing to work for units, but adding money and influence works fine.
so here's the trick I found when using that option
whatever unit you have out select it and ensure the strength goes up to 1000 when you look after clicking on them in the info screen.
If they have that then they should be super and can withstand anything even after you upgrade them in future eras.
I started with a warrior who eventually was upgraded to SpecOps through the ages.
Never had an issue with them not being super
That being said I noticed it only works maybe 50% of the time with those units that spawn when you hit some milestone or one of the places you've obtained something from after searching it.
I had a big battle with the random AI that appears as Hostile kind of like the wild animals that are peaceful. One of my musketmen died suddenly even though everyone else in my army was super units.
Also like our generous Trainer benefactors have noted. 1 Unit out of 5 to have them SuperUnits. I've stacked them and moved them but you gotta keep it separated upon destination or they're no longer super.
Well can we get PWizard to respond as to why all of my requests for an Epic trainer version are denied within 24 hours?
Looks like the trainer is active so it's not a question of holding off while a patch storm is happening.😐
Maybe your the only person requesting it, they are not going to make a trainer for 1 person. Easy fix, refund on Epic, buy on Steam.
Normally there's a lag of a few weeks before the new trainer request is denied when it's of low interest, not almost immediately refunded. And if the game was going through a ton of daily patches it would be suspended and not active. So no this isn't a normal situation.
And no I will not be buying it, or any other games, on Steam due to their highly anti-customer behavior. When they refused to refund a pre-order, before the game had even released, when it was discovered that a title was going to ship with Denuvo pretty much ended my customer relationship with them and drove me to spend my money at GoG and Epic.

Same here. If they can create one for microsoft store and game pass, they can create one for Epic version off the game. I Have to apologize for saying that they must be bad programmers. I was just annoyed that they won't do a Epic version without giving a reason, so I have removed that comment from this message. On a good note I've noticed that the latest version trainer does work with the Epic version of the game.

Game EXE's are NOT always the same for each platform and those differences could mean a trainer gets made for one platform and not another. Even if it is possible, the trainer maker has already made 2 versions and if they don't feel like making another, that's their call. Since you think they are bad programmer's then get CoSMOS and make your own for EPIC because I'm pretty sure that remark will be the reason for one NOT to be made for Epic now.
retirement for other platform not steam beside why buy games n Epic if they are on steam specially if you're planing on using a trainer.
