Can we use the old mass effect 2 trainer for the legendary edition version of mass effect 2? I liked the options that trainer had (i.e. paragon level and squad health).

Ok this time the game crashed when I clicked on 'Resume' and the trainer wasn't even running.

After the latest patch, without the trainer, ME2 goes to blank screen if I Resume game from the main menue. The solution is to always select start and the select Load save game from the ME2 in-game menu and then the game gets loaded properly.

There is certainly some wierd stuff going on even without the trainer.

While i definitely agree that the game has it's flaws and sometimes randomly crashes i completely disagree that it's absolutely random. I tried maybe two dozen times and i can reproduce the crash every time if i want to. and on the other hand i can stop the crash from occuring if i just don't activate the trainer. I've played the whole Omega Mission chain like that:

1 Play with trainer
2 save before a load screen
3 let it crash
4 restart game and load last save file
5 load screen without trainer - runs fine
6 activate trainer again and repeat from step 1

This were maybe 20 crashes alone. I did not have a single crash happen during a loading screen without the trainer being active. And it Crashed on every Loading screen with it being activated.

Sure i had 1 or 2 crashes without the loading screen problem, but that's got nothing to do with the trainer i guess, after all it's still a mass effect game that just has to crash from time to time

will send it this evening when I'm at home, rn I'm at work, sorry.
(roughly 6 or 7 hours from now, I'm from Germany)
But like I've said: exactly the same behaviour shows when starting a brand new game with a new character, after the first mission and right after the cut scene on board of your space ship the loading screen shows up and and tries to load a new Area. This is where it crashes the game.

Latest 8 June update causing frequent crashes for ME3, seems to be largely when the game goes to a loading screen of any sort.

When the trainer is not activated, 0 crashes for me. After the trainer is activated, near 100% reproduceable crashing.
