Going Medieval Message Board  

Until yesterday I could use trainer as it should and the trainer also worked normally but today I start the trainer and when I want to activate the trainer I keep hearing fail. I don't know what the problem is. Are there more people with this problem?

Looks like there was an update, got this when trying to activate the trainer:

07:57:18: Going Medieval, v0.5.29.3 (STEAM)
07:57:30: Successfully attached to Going Medieval
07:57:33: Click Resource Pile, Script error in line 3: Cannot find aob for 'Click_Pile'

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Oh I did, I was just responding to the previous commenter as well.

With a bit of game file manipulation know-how you can produce most of the trainer effects and more. Not as simple as running a trainer but the results are similar.
Editing a perk in
[InstallFolder]\Going Medieval_Data\StreamingAssets\Worker\Perk.json (text)
and adding it to a character in the save file
\Users\[You]\AppData\LocalLow\Foxy Voxel\Going Medieval\VillageSaves\[VillageName]\[saveName].sav - VillageSaveData.json (zip then text).
If anyone wants a more detailed process, I can list the steps and some of the attributes you can adjust.

I tried out the new trainer today but when I clicked F1 got the message failed. Downloaded the trainer one more time to see if I might have the wrong version but it wasn't. I've added a screenshot

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.

Hmmm...everything but the "Mega Resources on Build" option seem to be working fine on the updated trainer.

I've done the cleaning up, rebooted, and the normal troubleshooting steps. It is only that one option that does not work for me.

Just trying to confirm if I am solely experiencing it or if others are as well.
