If you want to exclude individual trainers from auto update just uncheck the "Check for updates" in trainers context menu.

The errors message appears just like it says when the folder where TM executable is inside has readonly attribute. Is that an actual folder or is it the root of a partition/drive i.e. D:\TrainerManager.exe?

Actual folder, not read only, Trainers folder on desktop. And I'd want to exclude all trainers from auto update, only wanna initiate it myself as don't always need latest trainer and don't always update game right away.. newer isn't always better these days.

So happy about this. The old v1 crashed my system when I would use it, so I stopped using it and went back to manually launching. I'm eager to give v2 a whirl.

I'm impressed!

However, I might also be quite retarded. When I start downloading a trainer, it doesn't go to the "Trainer" folder I created. I have to manually extract the files and choose the folder I want to extract them to. They seem to end up in the "Download" folder for Firefox...

Is this how it has to be done now or am I missing something here? (I did check the video (twice)).

Nope you're not missing anything, when you download a trainer for the first time you'll have to choose to open it in your designated trainer folder, I hope that changes in the future.
All the trainer updates will be automatically downloaded to your trainers folder of course.
