Anyone able to use trainer to get skill points faster and willing to describe method used?

Progression' Collected Skill Points:
Progression' Skill Points Spent:
This is the TOTAL NUMBER of Skill Points you have. If you spent some, the value shown in the game will be less than this. Also note, that updating this will be the CORRECT number of skill points, but the game will not update your total until you trigger a level up by gaining actual XP that triggers a level up.

Thanks for your reply but i saw that pop up in trainer.

Am i supposed to Unlock "Collected Skill Points:" and "Skill Points Spent:". Then enter a number in Collected Skill Points. Finally, wait for game to trigger a level up by gaining actual XP that triggers a level up?

I'll see if one of the testers have this game, I don't so they may be able to answer better than I.

Unsuccessful!
Method used: Changed Collected Skill Points to 20 and verified both Collected Skill Points and Skill Points Spent Unlocked. Completed Quest and saw Level Up. Only received 2 Skill points on Game's Skills Tab. Verified Level Up by comparing Trainer Next Level Up value before game play 11250 to Current Experience 19080.

What they're saying is you have to do a little math here.

Skill points collected: 20
Skill points spent: 18
Total skill points gained on level up: 2

What you want to do is change your Skill Points Collected to the desired number of points minus the value in points spent.

If you set Collected: 2000
Points Spent: 2000
You will get 0 points.

If you set Collected: 2000
Points Spent: 18
You will get 1,982 points to spend.

Outside of leveling up, I believe the numbers will also update if you load a save game with unspent points, change the values in the trainer, then spend a point. For the most part, you should never need to actually edit "Points Spent". Just update the collected.
