The note say " RARE or even LEGEND " . Try Bosses or captain areas. They will drop legends 100%. Other areas have been modified by the guys at Outriders to drop harder kinda like what they did in the Demo.

Can anyone confirm that this is actually the case and that, on captains, you get legendaries and epics with the option on?

Well yeah, for my personal version of the readme of course. I figured I'd kindly bring it to someone's attention so the change can be made for the next trainer at its source, is all.

No matter how many times I replace the EAC file with the one provided by the trainer, the game refuses to run, and then seems to repair itself with the original EAC file and won't run without it. Is anyone else having this issue?

You're running it as recommended? you replace the EAC with the one from the trainer folder and launch the game OUTSIDE of Steam via the Shipping label exe?
Mine starts up no problem and the trainer activates

Just make ABSOLUTELY certain you Do not start it from within Steam it'll auto reconnect the original EAC

as a couple others have stated, after following the instructions carefully ,i also get booted trying to load the game using the method given using the eac replace method and starting the game outside of steam.

ok, shame on me lol activating the trainer before the authenticating/login outriders screen works and doesn't give the error, and the read me does state this to do so.

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION are not related to the trainer. I have the same problem and I didn't use the trainer at all.
