Ever since version 1.11.0.0 the game is stuck on "authenticating" for me after I replace the eac file. When I use the original everything works.
Is this issue only happening to me ?
I've seen the same thing as well it gets stuck at "authenticating" when using the EAC file from the trainer and works normally when using the version from the game from the EPIC store. The odd thing is that prior to 1.11.0.0 it worked properly. Are you by chance using the version from the EPIC store? I decided to give the Steam version of the game a try and it works with the EAC file from the trainer and the trainer itself works as expected.

I am having the same issue with the EPIC version of the game

Nah, it just flat out doesn't work. It's not the Epic version, its all versions. I've got it on steam and the EAC pops every time. I've tried downloading the trainer 3 different times now and it still wont work.
Yes, the trainer fires up, but the EAC always catches in launch. And yes, I do unpack the EAC in the trainer and I put it in the Outriders game in place of the EAC that comes with it.
Worked in 1.11 for me, but not in this one.
No big, as I've already done a play through and was loading it back on to play it again, which I'm not going to do if I have to fight with the damn thing. I'll shoot geth instead

Kinda how your supposed to, right? I mean, posting to tell you guys something isn't working for me IS the damn point, right? Of course, normally I'd expect some help or at least reasonable questions about what is going on, but apparently the guy that used to do that here is gone? Cause from you, I get 'do what you just told me you did and it will work' which it obviously wont, or I wouldn't have posted here about it in the first damn place... right? Used to be chill as hell here, now everything has to have some sort of 'tude added on? 😢 Where's the old Dev, at least he/she (Cypher?PWizard?) has some class and will actually talk to you instead of being all lord high on the mountain and talking down to us.
Pretty sure there wouldnt be post after post of 'this aint workin right' if there weren't any issues. But.. ya know, **** on me, right?

Hi guys. Due to the problems with EPIC some are having and the way that EAC is tied into EPIC launcher and the DRM differently, the EPIC version of the trainer is cancelled.
For now STEAM seems to work 100%.
The problem is EAC and software like it that block access to running programs on your own OS. Literally your OS has been hijacked and modified by a game driver!
Thanks for everyone being so super cool and nice about it. This decision came hard and after hours of work and testing, but I am sure the insults and berating will continue.
If you are able to disable EAC by some other means, the trainer works. Have at it.
