Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Message Board  

Hi guys. Every time I launch MGS V, it connects to game Server. I know that you can disconnect from Main Menu (When you are in game), and someone on Steam Forums suggested putting Steam in Offline Mode. Is there another way I can play offline without having Steam in Offline Mode? Like, is there a Steam Launch Option for game under "Properties"? Help greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi there,

Just because I don't want to advertise anything I won't say the name of the software I use, but you just need to find a software that can block in and outbound connections of specific programs, block IPs etc.

When I want to make sure that the game or program is offline completely I block it from accessing the internet through my software and its all good

FYI, the game has 2 separate .EXE's

mgsvmgo.exe <-- online multiplayer
mgsvtpp.exe <-- regular game

Only loads the mgsvmgo.exe when you switch to multiplayer

Hi guys. I have a follow-up to this question/concern: Today, I downloaded the 100% Save from here, Save #1 on game page. Should I be worried/concerned about ban from game Servers and Metal Gear Solid Online? Thoughts and help appreciated 🙂
