in the editor for stats, what is level? as far as i can tell, there is no level for your character, so i cant work out what it is. Ive been lvl 1 according to the editor the entire time ive been playing.

The trainer used to work fine until the last update for me, now whenever I press F1 I get this error and the game crashes.

Make sure version is still the same, and you are not on beta/experimental build.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

Sorry to dig up this old issue, but with this and other trainers I'm getting the "Closes after splash screen" problem.
I've made sure I have both dotnet-core and framework installed and updated, disabled my antivirus, turned off windows firewall, turned off Potentially unwanted app blocking, and running as administrator. It's still just a random chance whether or not it will work after restarts.
Are there any additional steps I could try/have missed?

Could still be an active/live/real time scanner of the antivirus still running. Or, you need to add exclusions to both Defender and any 3rd party AV/Security software. Be aware some security features are only disabled for a short time and will turn themselves back on.

I've done everything you've mentioned, I even redownloaded the game, reverified game files etc etc, everything seems to be fine but I still get this error, even with the current update.

New game or still using a previous or older version save?

Same issue - option 8 bricked my entire character. Had to delete it all and start over. It was too game breaking.

Just like in games when you add gold and it gives 540,424,242,122 gold. No fun there.
