Hi. This game is in early alpha. They plan to patch this multiple times a month, every month, for likely a year or more. We will update the trainer once more, then likely this game and trainer will be put ON HOLD until they finish this game in a year from now.
They are still adding things like sparkly water and whatever. It's a LONG way from completion.
Likely you can use the console cheats until then.

They have not stuck to that plan for a long time. At the most, they were doing one a month. This is the first update since June, so your point is moot, and I don't see a reason why the trainer can't be maintained as needed.
