I found others with this issue, and tried their solutions along with the CH sticky solutions.

When using the latest Stardew Valley trainer I see the customized for splash screen, and it even pops up in my task manager, but then it closes, desktop and task manager.

I have disabled antivirus, ran as admin, installed the latest runtime files, attempted opening before and during the game.

I use other trainers, and they all work great. Even the previous version of the stardew valley trainer works. Well, it opens at least.

Any thoughts?

Have all of the following installed.

.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x64 Link
.NET Framework (get latest) Link

(Both x86 and x64 of the .Net Core MUST be installed)

Reboot PC when done.

Also double check that neither your AV (if you have one) Or windows defender blocks the trainer. they can still block it without sending a notification so double check that.

The .net core is what i meant by the runtime files. my apologies from lack of clarity. And I disabled my 3rd party AV, and then went in and killed windows defender as well. Then just for kicks, I whitelisted the trainer in both of them just to cover my bases.

I have to assume it is something with this specific version of this one trainer. I tried it on my other computer as well with the same results. I am using a previous version that works for at least a couple things, so I'll likely just live with that until a new one is released. It isn't the end of the world, and CH puts out so many great trainers that I'm not going to lose sleep over a rare miss.

Opens fine for me, has to be something on your end stopping it.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, extract it and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

I have similar problem trainer shows splash screen and nothing else after is disappears 😭

Did you read and do the things in this thread? What trainer(s)?

installed all 5 net dot and so added trainer and its folders to exclusion in windows defender (while normal AV is off) tried to scan for windows errors but nothing found, I'm at lost what to do.(it does not matter what game trainer I try to run same result)
