Okay, I've tried both deletion methods three times now. Multiple restarts. Followed the instructions exactly. I still can't get the trainer to start. Any more suggestions?

Go to the bottom of the trainer and trying activating it with the click of a mouse. That was the only thing that worked for me.
No, I can't even get the trainer to start. For most people, deleting a bunch of files seemed to work, but it hasn't worked for me.
soooo i dont know if its a vanilla bug or because of the trainer but i cant save my game now because everytime i try the game say (Cannot save right now V flatlined} i use only the option 1 of the trainer and got in a firefight or 2 and my last autosave is around 2hrs ago so itll be a bummer if i lose all that progress/// you guys have any idea how i can fix it? thx
i tried deactivate the godmode option and taking damage to try to reset but i cant save still..... im gonna try to die next

weeellll damn..... guess i lost 2hrs of gameplay dying made me go back to my last autosave.........

Some parts of the story won't let you save, be aware of that.
Also disable all options before trying to save.

Do you have the .net requirements? and are you running the trainer as admin? do you have your AV completely disabled? or made a correct exception?
i tried to save after i got the BD from Evelyn and Judy i was just outside in the city and i couldnt save
not sure, can't really test an exact moment.
save before every mission i guess.

Running trainer built for v. 1.04.
Trainer will not launch. I get the CheatHappens banner, then nothing. I've launched Task Manager and watched CHTrainer appear in the list of apps and then almost immediately disappear.
I've launched CH trainers for other games that I'm currently playing and they all work fine.
I run a very clean, minimalist session of Win 10. The Steam client and Webroot AV are basically the only extraneous processes that run and I always turn Webroot off before running a trainer.
This is the only time in over a decade of using your trainers that I can remember having this problem. You guys do a great job!

I am having the exact same issue, my system is set up identical and I also have Webroot. Normally I can run trainers by disabling Webroot; its whitelist is useless and it shuts down trainer anyways with no message or record of doing it. Shutting down Webroot usually works. However, this is the first game where this does NOT work. I start the trainer, see the logo, and the process just goes away like it never happened. I have deleted all the suggested temp files, restarted system and downloaded new copy of latest trainier. NOthing.

Hey Xanders23,
Disable Ghost Mode. It's the one causing the issue. Reactivate it after you save.
