I'm still having issues with the trainer's editor in 1.04. Editor can't find any values under player progression in any save beyond the opening few minutes of the game, and it never finds the player stats field, values are just filled with random numbers. The rest works fine.
Trainer might need to look for these values a different way.
This has been my experience too, however I get the impression either they can't reproduce it with the saves we're providing them, or the issue is more complicated and they don't wish to fix it. Either way, your best bet is to set everything up that you want to use the editor for as far as skills and level progression are concerned early in the game (before your 'rescue' mission) and before you save/reload with modified stats. After you've maxed out the skills, or progressed past this point, the editor will no longer work consistently.
FWIW the max level in game for Street Cred and Character level are 50. You can set them higher, but it breaks things.
For skills and attributes max levels are 20. You can set them all to 20 and you will still get all of the progression bonuses and such once you save and reload. It recalculates everything each time you load the game.

I was worried about setting skills and attributes without setting xp to level up -1, do the ability and skill progression rewards unlock properly if you just set the skill to 20?
Hello! First of all, thank you so much CH Team for this trainer, It's amazing! Not sure if anyone else is running into this problem though, whenever I load up the game either at the main menu or load in-game, then activate the trainer, I lose the ability to play with my Xbox One controller on PC. Specifically, when I press RB or attempt to move, my camera will rotate 360 degrees over and over very fast and I lose the ability to move completely.
I have tested that the game runs just fun prior to trainer activation, so it is not one of the other glitches reported for this game already. This only occurs after I press "F1" to activate. I am totally fine with not using the trainer for now, but I want to report this anyway in case someone else has run into similar problems.
I have also tried activating the trainer prior to plugging the controller in as well and the same issues as mentioned above occur.
