FYI to future readers, if you care to submit a trainer update request to ask the team to look into the cyberware capacity editor bug, you can do so here: www.cheathappens.com/trainer_update.asp?titleid=19473
I've done it. 2 more people need to do it before we meet the "at least 3 requests" minimum to get the team to look at our requests.
Please don't.
Trainer is up to date and working as intended. Multiple tips have been posted in the forums. I do not plan to add any more code to try and isolate any further.

Caliber, do you have a link to the solution perhaps? The values change in game but the upon changing implants the game will simply tell uis that there isn't capacity. This happens despite the values in the game remain altered.
Thank you in advance for your help

Gotcha. Thanks Cal.
I've gone through this thread starting at page 156, where Weeks' (second) post on Sep 24, 2023 made it clear that the cyberware capacity editor option did not exist then. www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=145849&titleID=19473&onPage=156
From that post moving onwards, I did not actually find any tips or suggestions pertaining to cyberware capacity specifically. Rather, the tips are regarding general editor troubleshooting i.e. resolving the ?? in other stats. Given this state of things, with no report of cyberware capacity editing working and no one chiming in with a workaround specifically for cyberware capacity, would you consider just removing the cyberware capacity option from the trainer and nip this particular issue in the bud? Otherwise there's always going to be people who click "last page" and jump straight to the last post without reading through the posts in the thread.
Regardless, thanks for all your work!

Team, thank you for adding the cyberwear capacity option, however on my end, when I modify this number (Cyberwear capacity), it only changes the number artificially.
When I go to a ripper doc, the modded amount doesn't register with the doc, so I can't go above what the normal unedited amount is. If I try to get a cyberwear that is above my normal cyberwear capacity but below the modded cyberwear capacity, I get "Requirement not met" message, even though the edited amount is well above the requirement.
I hope this feedback helps.
Cal's response to Shawmeck above. Second post on page 179 by Caliber.
Make a save and load then report if the value "sticks".
Otherwise I may just have to remove it if it doesn't work.
Also try to make both values 999 and see what happens.
best,
Cal

The most in-depth/comprehensive tip on using the editor in general (though not cyberware capacity specific)). There are many other posts saying the same tip but this one mentions that different menus "sends" different numbers to the trainer's editor. Sixth post on page 191 by Souldire: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=145849&titleID=19473&onPage=191
For anyone having trouble with the editor, try the following. I was having issues at first, but I played around with it and found that the numbers change depending on what menu you are in. Press H to go to the main menu where it shows cyberware, inventory, and other menus, then alt-tab to the editor and check the numbers. This usually fixed the credits not showing properly. If not, try switching between the inventory and that menu a few times and try again.
I have also noticed that sometimes the progression levels and experience won't show up until you spend a skill point or perk point. Once you do, then the numbers should update.
For the skill points, perk points, go to the skill menu and then alt-tab to the editor to check the numbers, if they did not change then go back to the game and switch back and forth from the progression menu to the skills menu a couple times and then go back to editor. I found that this would update the numbers for me. Hopefully this will help some of you as well. 🙂
Cal's most recent commentary on the difficulty of building a trainer for this game; they cannot plan for everything nor keep working on one game indefinitely. Seventh post on page 194 by Caliber: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=145849&titleID=19473&onPage=194
Trainer is up to date and working as intended. All posts here are known issues. The game is using a BS way to store data that all runs through several small functions.. Not so easy to isolate, and depending on how far in the story you are, where you are located, your inventory, and probably 2000 other things I cannot plan for or experience or code for, the data being isolated may be "something else".
I have made suggestions, others have made suggestions, all through the forum. I currently have FIVE different methods at work trying to find and isolate values. I am NOT going to do more with this game as no matter how many hours I put into it, there is going to be some such incidence, situation, build, character, unique save game that simply is "different" in how it's storing data or causes issues. Note that this all changes and requires me to update ALL OF THAT every patch where there are major changes to the game, which is more often than I would like.
I have nothing more to add. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but there are a few games where "this is as good as it's going to get by me", and this is one of them.
Note we don't have unending hours to ceaselessly put into ONE TITLE as if the entire site revolves around it, and there is a point where we have to accept where the title is and the trainer working like it does "mostly" and moving on to the 10000 other titles and all the daily new titles we support here.
If you found a way or another source to modify your character that works "better" and they keep up with it for 100 patches and etc. then so be it. Good for you and good for them. I've put all I am going to put into this difficult to train game.
best,
Cal
(Outdated advice) 4th post on page 202 by Smileyj: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=145849&titleID=19473&onPage=202
Possibly it might need an update, or at the very least a checkup by our team. So I do suggest an update request.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
