Can also confirm that setting bounty does not work, the trainer does not find the correct values. It shows always the same each time I start the trainer. I have the game originally on the origin. It makes no difference whether someone has "steam version" or "origin version" as steam just lunches origin to play it.
I hope to see a fix for it. Editing any values in the trainer makes the game crash. It does not matter what value you set, the game will "always" crash. Have tested 5 times.
All other options of the trainer work like a charm except "unlimited weapons"
And unlimited weapons option does not also work correctly as mentioned above, it gives "AI" infinite weapons also. And they just spam the weapons. They use the weapons all the time like crazy. Which makes it very difficult to win the race or bust the racers.

From what is posted in this thread, i believe bounties are capped so you can't set then too high. As for weapons, that's what happens when devs share values and code with player/enemy, it's not always possible to isolate just the player when they do this.
Bounty values will fill in while at the menu, NOT in missions, edit them at that point and hit TAB to make the change in game.
The whole game was re-coded for current gen platforms, what used to work 11 years ago may not be possible today, it's apples and oranges.

Started the game up and waited for the main menu to appear. I click F1 and the trainer successfully attaches itself to the game. I go to the Editor and find the bounty and it finds some values. I set the bounty value higher and hit enter, but nothing happens in the game. Yes you are right it does not crash in the main menu, but it does not change anyhting.
And I have tested it even further. I started a race won it and ended it and nothing changed the bounty is the same, only the race gave me some bounty, but the trainer does not change anyhting. Even when the value is changed in the editor nothing happens in the game.

Please fix unlimited weapons feature
It has come to my attention that this feature is broken as hell it doesn't just gave you unlimited weapons but it also gives it to the AI as well. AI cops tend to have everything unlimited to them and vice versa for AI racers when you play as an interceptor. I have used the REMOVED BY MOD trainer and I had no problems at all with this feature, it just gave you the unlimited weapons to the player only and not the other vehicles. You guys need to fix it right away if you decide to update the trainer again and if you think I'm kidding around I've made a little video for you to show you what I mean.

continue to use the mod if that works better. Option is working as intended here. If more than you post it's broken as hell then we will remove it.
