The version number on the trainers that I have downloaded is wrong. It clearly displays the 1.0.84.7636 of the trainer. How can I be doing something wrong by downloading the latest version and it not being the version it was supposed to be? It is not just the version number displayed on the trainer itself, it does not recognize the game when I try to activate. I can't comprehend what I would be doing wrong. The download isn't the latest version.

They were downloaded nearly 5000 times between the 2, pretty sure we would have heard others if it was not just you. The file/template may just have the wrong name/version, it was clearly updated.

Note:

If you modded the game with anything (e.g moddb or nexusmods), it may have change the memory locations and the exe enough that the trainer wont attach. Uninstall any mods.

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, extract it and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Have both latest .NET CORE Link (Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64) and FRAMEWORK Link from Microsoft.

At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

Is it possible for someone to download the trainer who isn't me to see if there is any issue that isn't me or my PC? Please? Not checking the page for GRID 2, check the actual download.

I am not trying to be an ass, I just want to see if the LINK for the trainer is incorrect. I have been a Lifetime member for a few years so I know how to use CH trainers.

I see the version mis-match in the template but without a copy of the game to check it against, I can't tell if it is just a mistake or not.

Check the CH discord, someone there must have it and can try it out. Testers are always on.

I will download the game and test it. I tested it about a year ago when it got 2 reports, but it worked fine back then.

Edit: Ok so yes the trainer shows the version as 1.0.84 but it still works flawlessly for me with the AVX version.
