any other people on uplay plus getting crash to desk top?

or heck any one who actuly bought the game getting it to?

About 8 hours solid with only minor animation glitches for me, but I bought it outright.

Been playing it over 6 hours now and haven't crashed yet. Uplay+

I did once during the tutorial mission but I think it had more to do with the graphic changes I made while playing. On Uplay+ for the record.

I had same crash issue and for me it was right after changing graphic settings while playing as well during a tutorial mission. After reloading I didn't have any other issue. I bought it outright from UPlay.

I had crashes to desktop when using a VPN to play it earlier, because UPlay+ needs a very high and stable permanent internet connection. As soon as it pings out, it kills the game and you end on your desktop loosing all your progress. If you used a VPN as well, then this could be the reason. Otherwise, without VPN, the game runs perfectly stable.

That's interesting about Uplay+ needing a strong permanent connection. To my knowledge it's not a streaming service like Stadia, there's no reason to crack a game you are paying for, Co-Op is built into the game so that's not unique to Uplay+. Other than verifying your account and confirming location, which is done when the game starts, makes you wonder what Ubi is doing with the connection. Ironic given the nature of Watch Dogs.
