If error, then most likely no. Just for original Origin as far as I know.

Can I request EA Desktop to be added to request new platform option menu? I only see Origin listed in the platform options, no option for EA Desktop. The game is free on Xbox Gamepass and requires EA Desktop to download.

Yup, eventually they will all have to be redone for EA Desktop App (those that don't already work for it) once EA kills origin for good. They still have not announced when that will be though.

To submit a request for a new distribution platform, please use our trainer requests system. Once at least 5 people request the same distribution, it will be available for funding. Please do NOT use the trainer option request system to request new platforms as they will be denied. Premium members at any level may request a new distribution as long as it’s done through the normal request system.
