I would like to ask whether this launcher can unlock the in-game achievements? I mean the internal achievements of the game, not the achievements of Steam.

Both pop for me, (steam first then windows notification) might have to have xbox app and console companion installed though, not sure if that's the reason.

I put the CH launcher in the Steam game directory and moved the original launcher to another location.
Open the cheater, and then use Steam to start the game. Select "Halo: The Master Chief Collection"
After entering the game, I turned on the cheat device option and played for two hours. No matter it was a Steam achievement or an in-game achievement, I didn't get a single one.
How is this going?

along with the trainer? Run and activate at main menu then run the trainer and activate it after selecting what game you are playing. Played 3 mins of Halo 4 found a terminal and achiv popped for both.

I don't know, I've followed the instructions to the letter and I still can't get any achievements. The regular trainer works well and the Enabler says activated but I don't get any achievements. Guess it's just not meant to be.

Just a little sugestion: Could you maybe change the file name? When using the Trainer Manager, the Achievement Enabler overwrites the "real" trainer. 🙂

You do know you can do that yourself, right? Just get it from the site and not the TM, right-click it and rename before moving it to the trainer manager folder.
