Quick Update -
Was able to make the trainers work, in a way I was least expecting
Decided to finish my LASO for HALO2 the old way, run through a level without EAC and trainers on and then alt+f4 at final cinematic, load game back up with EAC on and resuming the LASO playthrough to unlock the LASO run for that level.

While that was working, I realized something else. If you run the a level on Legendary, and not LASO, and do a few checkpoints with EAC off Trainers on, alt+f4 game and reload game with EAC on, the trainer effects basically stay on. The game will show your armor and stuff fully depleted but you wont die, unless a grenade sticks to you or you get run over by a vehicle.

So right now, I am playing the same level twice. Once for LASO achievements by doing the alt+f4 tactic. And then again in legendary to get all skulls and terminals.

Would love to know if this worked for others too.😇

Edit 2 - Halo 2 Idiotic LASO run complete. Please disable all trainers for Halo 2 final boss fight and keep hitting the boss for 10 mins. You will not be able to mostly hit the par time but every other LASO achievement unlocked and done for. 😴

This works for me too! I discovered you can just hit esc and save/exit, no need to Alt+F4, but that would be a little quicker.

No idea if this works anymore, all my achiv's were unlocked long ago, pretty sure they are tied to EAC and it having to be active now. You can still use SAM, you want achivs then I suppose you'll need to earn them the old fashioned way.

All the Halo trainers for Gamepass/Win Store including the Achiv Enabler should be OK now. Be sure to thank Caliber for his amazing work.

Can some please give a real confirmation that the achievement enabler works on gamepass, before we go downloading over a hundred gigs just to be disappointed.

I have downloaded the game again just to be disappointed after 2 hours of files modifying thinking that I could earn achievements with cheats
