Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens
Learn how to make your own Trainer Cleaner for the above paths Here. Link
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.
Used it all day yesterday and no issue what so ever.
I didn't have the folders:
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens
I did clean up the other folders and re-downloaded the trainer outside CH Trainer Manager.
It was both restarted and had a full shutdown then startup done (Windows 10 doesn't clean the RAM anymore on restart or normal shutdowns, System Settings have to be adjusted to disable fast Windows bootup).
Both the CH Trainer Manager and the trainer are running as Administrator; I've also configured the AV software to exclude the folder that contains both and any executable running from there from any scans.
I still have the crash issues, however, it might be that my save has issues has I have 1 quest that didn't trigger the enemies to defeat...
I can't reply on that topic, so I'll leave a suggestion here, to make that script even simpler, use %username% instead on those paths, Windows will automatically convert that to whichever is the username that is running the script.
I have something interesting to share about the trainer. All options work fine for me, the xp etc worked fine. Got to first village and now, for some reason, I am unable to attack, draw a weapon. I've left the town to go fight, still nothing. It's like the attack keys have been disabled or something. I even tried the game without the trainer, but it seems to be the save file. Started the game from the beginning without the trainer and had no issues since.
Random game bug, it was present in the original as well. there is a link on the steam forums to report bugs to the game dev's.
Usually happens when you first fight the Tuatha and have to use your fate ability, something the game is expecting does not trigger.

I can confirm that - had the same bug once in the original-game back then.
