You can try the usual :

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

If it does not work it may be due to game patch, if so report please.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Not sure how much this is related to the trainer but I somehow stopped gaining experience in game. I was using "easy gain event xp" with different values and it worked fine. I'm not sure but I think the moment the driver profile maxed out at 150 no more experience was getting applied to either the profile (which doesn't even matter since it's max level now) or the cars. I have a few cars maxed out at 99, but now no car will gain experience anymore. It doesn't matter if I use the trainer or not, it will show me gaining experience post race but once in the menu again it will be back to level 1 or whatever it was on before.
