Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865) Message Board  

When you start a new campaign, you can pick up to 3 "grand policies", such as fillibsuters for the confederates or go west for the union. Here's how to mod the config files to let you pick more policies:

Go to your steam folder, steamapps, common, grand tactacian..., config

Use a text editor to edit the campaignprefs text file

In that file, scroll down to the "policies & subsides" section

In this section you will find some very useful lines:
-Minimum useable policies (sets the number of policy choices you can make with no additional funding to politics)
-Maximum usable policies (sets the number of policy choices you can make when politics funding is set to max)

Changing the max policies number affects the sliding scale, so if you set the max to 25 and leave the min at 5, then 50% funding will give you 10 extra choices. This probably affects the AI too

-Max chooseable "grand" policies from main menu (this sets how many "grand policy" choices you can make when you start a new campaign. Uncheck "historical" to take advantage of this. Unsure if this affects the AI too.

The Dev mentioned the game shouldn't get another patch for at least two weeks so no worries about micro patching every day breaking the trainer.

I swa someone explain how to find the gold value. I actually tried with both another well known adress editor and Cosmos and wasnt able to pinpoint it. I followed the procedure though:

Float, value in Financial tab, search between (x-2000)+999 and (x+1)+999

What did I miss? Can someone help? Thanks!

Trainer failing to activate with latest version of trainer and latest version of game.

Game got update today.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

The trainer fails to activate "Please wait: failed".

In the Debug tab the message is: "Collect money Script error in line 3: cannot find aob for" Collect money ". Version 0.8103

Probably due to the 3 patches a day it gets and why it's ON HOLD.
