Ok so I'm finding that with ODST the trainer works fine but I can't get the achievements to pop anymore and I know I had them working a number of months back before I took a break from gaming. All my achievements have been with the trainers on so I'm wondering if the achievement enabler needs updating maybe or I'm doing something wrong that I didn't before?
Anyone able to confirm that they get them for ODST?

Most are now tied to EAC being on to get them, some may still work. Can always use S.A.M. to get them in Steam.

Couple things..

there is no game called Halo Master Chief Collection.

it's a COLLECTION of games.

maybe some broke, maybe some didn't.
Also if they ALL broke, it's actually like 7 games to update.
so this process is long, stupid, repetative, and in many cases in the past all the registers change with these dumb updates.

So with that said, people need to test each game and report which games are actually broken, and what is broken or being reported by the trainer.

Even so, I won't be updating them all at once, and this is not priority as it could easily tie up three full days of time and there is a LOT more games and work here to do at the site.

I'll gladly help to test all trainers on the most recent (Season 8) update + Hotfix from today, 18th oct 21.
Steam version, EAC disabled.
Testing all the 04.22.2021 HF trainers except for Reach for which the latest trainer is 04.22.2021.


Game: Halo ODST
Trainer: 04.22.2021 HF

Does the trainer activate?
(yes)

Do the options work?

(yes) Health
(yes) Shields
(yes) Ammo
(yes) Grenades
(yes) no reload
(yes) super damage

Guys. the game loads and unloads each campaign via a .dll You need to NOT ACTIVATE the trainer until you are RUNNING THE CAMPAIGN AND INSIDE THE GAME MOVING AROUND. Make sure you are USING THE CORRECT TRAINER to match the campaign you are playing. If you leave that campaign and play another game (like moving from Halo 3 to Halo 4) then you will need to close the trainer, wait until you are IN THAT GAME, then RUN the appropriate trainer and only activate it when you are actually inside the game moving your character around.

Sorry the confusion but this is the only way to get it to work

A couple things about this completely annoying and time consuming COLLECTION of games.

There is like 10 games or whatever. So asking for update of Halo Master Chief Collection means nothing. Maybe it's a specific game that is broken. It's better to request update of THAT.

The game has EAC, and you can run it WITHOUT EAC, but the point is that they don't want people to try and cheat ONLINE. Further they are locking down the achievements over and over. If you want to edit your achievements, go use the steam achievements unlocker, I don't have time to play games month after month with MICROSOFT who are mainly updating ONLINE and ANTI CHEATS in this series of games.

If your trainer is reporting .dll not found, you likely trying to activate the trainer BEFORE you are already in the game. Further if you play one game, then run another, the trainer won't still magically work, you have to close trainer then try again after it re loads. This is a stupid decision by the developers and a unique issue with this title. We have NO CONTROL OVER IT.

Regarding updating 10 games in perpetuity over and over and over, especially if they all are updating regularly and the entire registers being used completely change each patch, this would be an exercise in insanity and futility. I don't have the time to keep up with this series of games and it's insane patches and updates, which AGAIN are mostly updates for online and multiplayer and anti cheats, NOT the single player campaign.

This series is close to being just put on hold or retired completely. It's a never ending battle and I spend hours just REPLYING and posting the same thing over and over. Many issues are due to people not reading the instructions.

SO, with all this said, if you followed the instructions, waited until the game loaded BEFORE you try the trainer, and are using the correct trainer for the correct campaign, and are offline in single player mode, and launched the game without EAC, THEN you tried EACH option and one or more of them isn't working.. it would be great if you posted here THE GAME NAME (campaign) and which exactly options aren't working. Even then, it could take weeks to get throught them all, with more patches happening literally a day later. So no ETA, and I hope this explains more about this game. If there is more posts or more anger and more futility, it just may be that this series gets put down.

I can understand how annoying this game must be

Halo 3 ODST does not work anymore, in Singleplayer campaign without EAC, level loaded and I walked a few steps. The whole trainer does not activate:

18:43:32: Successfully attached to MCC-Win64-Shipping
18:43:33: Collect Player Base, Script error in line 11: Cannot find aob for 'Collect_Player'

I am using the most recent trainer 04-22-2021 which is also the one opening right in Aurora.
