Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I recently purchased the THPS game on Steam, and after multiple attempts, restarting programs and the computer, I have only been able to activate the trainer one time in over a dozen attempts. The game is "found" and the voice says "please wait" like usual, but then the activation times out.

The only time I got it work was when I was in the middle of filling out a trainer update request and it was running in the background LOL...but I'm having trouble reproducing the successful attempt. I've used Aurora-based trainers for quite a while and never had this issue.

I also updated Windows last night before the successful attempt.

UPDATE...SUCCESS, but I don't know what I did other than restarting the trainer and waiting several minutes.

Likely this has something to do with your anti-virus being a nuisance.
You should check you have the exclusions you need for older trainers

The .tmp files are usually only there when the trainer is running, so I suggest excluding the Temp folder and figure out what .tmp files shows up and exclude it.
