I've requested an option for unlimited fast travel packs, but apparently that's not necessary: we can buy a pack for unlimited fast travels several hours into the game.
With easy crafting turned on you can also make as many as you want as soon the crafting menu is available.
DON'T USE THE UNLIMITED ITEMS IN THE ANCIENT ARMORY MISSION!
Turn it off when you use the power cells in the lock. If you keep this option on and unlock both locks with it, then collect the ancient armour your mission will be bugged and stuck on "collect 3 power cells" and you won't be able to use this armour.
There are several other missions that are broken with the unlimited item option activated. Luckily the game creates a lot of auto saves to revert to.
But it sucks when you are few hours of gameplay ahead and need to revert to that particular moment... Then start again...
Can confirm that the unlimited life also affects enemies and some wild life.
Bigger wildlife that you can't kill in one hit, like boars, will not lose any life points whatsoever (the hp bar doesn't even come up).
Larger enemies that you attack, regain all hp when you lose sight of them, even if for a brief moment, like them going off screen and the player turning to see them. This happened as early as the first sawtooth you have to kill in the main story. Had to use the weak enemies option to be able to kill it without turning off the unlimited life option.

I can second this. I've tried playing around with the infinite life setting and it is definitely what is causing the 'freezing' of enemy hp or jumping back to full hp.

Can confirm, enemy HP drops a bit and then regenerates.

I too can confirm that this happening.
