It appears to have something to do with difficulty settings too? I am playing on Ultra Hard and things sometimes won't die, but on Story things die easily...

But also any of the unlimited health options also seem to have the issue for some enemies and not others, so my current work around is to not use any health options and just have easy craft and use potions. So far so good... just gotta watch how far I drop off of things.

I wish i could replicate it, but it seems random. some enemies take forever, some clearly are not taking any damage (with options on) and some just drop immediately, no apparent reason for one over the other. (Note: not just robots, but also humans and animals too).

For the most part, I will just alter how I play and leave the health options off. Works for me. Still a great trainer

In my playthrough it seems to be mainly boss battles. If I turn off unlimited health, then damage the boss to bring up their health bar, then I can turn unlimited health back on and carry on.

I am playing on Story mode and I am having the same problem. Some enemies are invincible. I found a way to recreate the issue on my system.

I tried uploading a .zip file with the savegame but the upload is getting blocked because of security reasons. Is there another way I can send you the savegame?

I fixed the problem with the game blocked access after the update. I had to uninstall the game first (with the Revo program) and reinstall with the clean game.
You need to remove just for a moment: the Cloud in Steam, remove optimized options in Nvidia Experience (if you have the Nvidia card), and remove your game saves (found in User / Documents, first you have to back up so you don't lose your saves).
I restarted the game, you have to wait for it to complete all the beginning of the story of Aloy, baby, etc etc. As soon as there is the bonfire save. close the game, restart Steam.
So two alternatives: either to start the story again from the beginning without saving or to back up the game save and then put the saves back.
but unfortunately in my case I had to start over because the saves got corrupted and blocked the start of the game and I had to start over from the beginning.

We need to know exactly what options to turn on, which enemies are invincible, etc that go with your save.

For Unlimited Health healing enemies i found out that it is a problem with staff. If you attack only using bows/traps it's ok, but as soon as you hit enemy with your melee attack, bum, it's healed.

I can confirm, that by using option 5, melee attacks no longer heal machines

Ok so the upload has worked?

Instructions for the savegame
1. Activate Trainer on Main Menu and activate the Option "Unlimited Health"
2. Load the savegame
3. Walk forward a little bit to start the fight
4. Try killing the boss (For me it is impossible as long as the Health Option is activated)

If i deactivate the Unlimited Healt Option and reload the savegame the problem is fixed.

It happens for me mostly with Ravager's and Thunderjaw's and sometimes with boss enemies.
