Game is unplayable. on Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition PC Message Board - Page 4

Ryzen 7 2700X
GTX 1080
running off an SSD

Game ran flawlessly for 2 hours before it crashed to desktop at a point that seemed to be a transition between loading zones. Not loving the manual saving, because I'm pretty sure I just lost about 45 minutes of progress, but so far at 1440p it has run at 60fps and been otherwise flawless

On Steam forums, someone said that their anti virus software caused game to crash for them.

It could be my antivirus software and/or Malwarebytes?

Could give it a try.

It seems that many others have same problem on Steam.

had no issues however my monitor and such only support the normal 1080p so that might be it, the whole added widescreen thing some have no issue with 4k.
only running the game with a GTX 1080 atm and old skylake cpu and running the game on high setting and it looks stunning.

I am an old gamer and i need my trainers to help me complete them these days so i have started to look at what trainer options i have for my games and Cheat happens tend to not disappoint so thank you for the game enjoyment i can still have.

I've just played for 3 hours straight.

i7 6700
ROG Maximus Hero VIII
32 GB DDR4 2666Mhz
2080 TI

It terms of frame rate it's all above 80 at 1440p but from time to time I get weird artifacts appearing randomly. And my processor got really, really hot.
