downloaded several trainers this is only one not working. firewall is off. antivirus is off. trainer will show the CH logo then nothing.

I've downloaded the latest trainer as of now and it works fine. Its a very old trainer template which has triggered Windows Defender and blocked it. I had to manually allow it to run. Please double check your security tools.

If you double checked your security tools and you still have this problem take a look at the event viewer of Windows and search for a crash entry matching the time you started the trainer. If there is one post the details here. If there isn't one the trainer hasn't crashed but got killed by another process.

For someone else running into the problem;

- You're sure you've updated/installed your .net versions ( in this case 5.0.5 runtime x64 x86 + 3.1.14 x64/3.1.11 x86
- You're sure you've also excluded the relevant directories with windows defender.

Try putting the trainer into a new folder, without any subdirectories or other files.
For me, that solved the problem to get the trainer to run after a long debug session.
(Instead of trying to get it to run, in a folder with 130+ other CH trainers and 100 subdirectories due to trainer manager, other editors, etc etc).
