Trying reupload now. Sort thought it wasn't going be to looked at so I left it alone and used the trainer as it was
did you try the current trainer?
best,
Cal
I was talking Cypher on discord and was told to upload my shadowempire exe file for steam and PM Caliber to have a look if trainer functionally on steam doesn't work since trainer is for Retail version
From discord:
😈CyPHeR369Today at 10:37 PM
Steam shows ShadowEmpire.exe exe 11.44 MiB not sure if is the same as the other
post your steam exe (zipped) in the forum and PM Caliber to take a look
From trainer debug
22:08:36: ATTENTION: You're running a STEAM game but the trainer was for RETAIL, the trainer or a cheat may fail to activate
File added. Shadowempire.exe
Goes in main folder for game on steam
I would have looked at this, but alas the .exe is not included.
therefore, we are no closer to knowing if the trainer works on steam version. I really don't want to HAVE to buy this dog again, or make two trainers that BOTH are patching over and over.
Could someone test the trainer on STEAM and see if you get some success? Or, again, you can try to post the .exe somewhere and link to it.
best,
Cal
Hi Cal, the trainer was working for Steam, version 1.07.01.
However, today it received a major update to version 1.08.01 and it's not working anymore.

Yes it was working with 1.07.01. The issue that was with it was the editor. Some values fell out if you reached 0 ingame and didn't return and some didn't match the type ingame. Like water on trainer edited recruits ingame. (Might be wrong. Just example of what was going on)
EDIT: Not pushing a trainer update request unless I get asked to as Caliber might be looking at it already. Not gonna push timesink work up if this game is to broken.

Caliber has mentioned before that there's nothing they can do about the editor showing different values from the game...
The game just loads those values into different memory addresses on turn start and that's why you see completely different values.
