I am kind of new to the game but like it. But I have no idea what Star points are, can some please explain them to me. I searched steam but could not find any help with the topic.

you get them while playing the game. They are shown in the upper left corner I think.

You earn star points by playing the game and at the end of your game the points are tallied and then posted to the leader board. To earn more star points during your game you should change your EGO to a higher number, I believe the default is 14 but can raise it to 99 which the hardest difficulty, I have mine set to 50 which in turn is rated hard.

I feel "SPECIAL" now I see those points things tallying all the time for like strike outs, HR, not swinging at bad pitches and etc. Thanks for the response.
