I used the xp option and got me on level 30, but now my shark is stuck on adult and dont grow.
Yeah I have the same problem. I used enough XP to get me to teen, and it evolved without problem. Leveled up "normaly" to adult - Got in the grotto and it worked but the next evolve step (elder?) doesn't work. It says i have to fight scaly pete but the mission is nowhere to be found.
You have to keep playing, it's story locked.
It seems that the point editor doesn't work. Cant identify my existing different points. Went to the grotto and hit I as instructed. The trainer edit numbers remain at ??.
I'm having this same issue. The XP and nutrient editor did work normally for a while, but at some point it stopped getting the values and changes aren't working. I'm not 100% certain on the timing, but I didn't catch it until I got to the level cap. Maybe the memory locations change when you hit mega? I started a new game and the editor values work as a pup.
Edit: I think I can confirm that the addresses are different for before and after you hit the level cap. I used CoSMOS to find the values for a level 1 shark vs. level 30 and here's what I came up with:
Protein (pre-level 30): E42596C8
Fat (pre-level 30): E42596CC
Minerals (pre-level 30): E42596D0
Mutagen (pre-level 30): E42596D4
Protein (level 30): 4D4144A8
Fat (level 30): 4D4144AC
Minerals (level 30): 4D4144B0

Hopefully we can get a Steam version soon. But I'm patient. 😁 Already put in a request for it.
Did any1 try the current trainer/trainers on the Steam version to see if they work?
